Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SupaFunGroup(“we”, “us”) for using PromptRiff. By playing or buying anything, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.

The service

PromptRiff is a browser-based party game. The core game is free to play. An optional one-time Premium Host Pass unlocks extra host features — only the host needs it; guests always play free.

Your account

Sign-in is passwordless (a magic link to your email). You’re responsible for keeping access to that email secure. Don’t impersonate others or misuse someone else’s account.

Acceptable use & your content

You’re responsible for what you create — nicknames, answers, custom prompts, and feedback. Don’t submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, infringing, or otherwise harmful. Custom packs submitted for public sharingare reviewed before they’re published. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Premium Host Pass

• The Premium Host Pass is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) tied to the email you buy with, and it carries across your devices when you sign in.
• Prices may change, but a change won’t affect a pass you’ve already bought.
• Refunds: Because Premium is a digital product delivered instantly, all sales are final and we don’t offer refunds, except where a refund is required by law. Some regions (for example the EU/UK) grant statutory rights for digital purchases, and nothing here removes any rights you have by law.

Tips

Tips (via our tipping page) are voluntary, non-refundable, and unlock nothing — they’re simply a way to support the game. Thank you. 💜

Intellectual property

PromptRiff, its name, prompts we write, and its design are ours. You keep ownership of the custom prompts you write, but by creating them you grant us a license to store, display, and (if you submit them for public sharing) distribute them within the game.

Disclaimers

The game is provided “as is”without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Where liability can’t be excluded, it’s capped at the total amount you have paid us (which, for most players, is nothing). This is a limit on damages, not a refund.

Termination

You can stop using PromptRiff anytime. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or the law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we’ll change the date at the top and, for material changes, make them clear on the site. Continued use means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
